The 6D.Vidyaranya Scholarship Honors his Legacy by recognizing and supporting Young Thinkers who Demonstrate early Signs of Leadership, Curiosity, and the Ability to Design Solutions for the Future.
Through this Scholarship, 6D.Varsity aims to nurture the Next Generation of System Thinkers and Society Builders.
About Sadhguru Vidyaranya
Sadhguru Vidyaranya (c.1296–1386) was a renowned Philosopher, Scholar, and Spiritual Leader associated with the Sringeri Sharada Peetham.
He is widely known for guiding and mentoring Harihara and Bukka Raya, the founders of the Vijayanagara Empire.
During a period of political uncertainty in India, Sadhguru Vidyaranya helped inspire the creation of a new kingdom that would later become one of the most powerful and culturally vibrant empires in Indian history.

Application Process

Students applying for Alpha Design 5.0 (AD 5.0) are automatically eligible to apply for the 6D.Vidyaranya Scholarship during the admissions process.

No separate scholarship application is required.
Selection Criteria

The scholarship is not based on academic marks. Instead, students are evaluated based on their potential to think, design, and solve real-world problems.

A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year.

Selected applicants will be informed by the 6D team within two weeks after review.

Solve a Real home-based problem using the steps in the book.

Work individually or with friends, classmates, family, or neighbours.

Fill in the 6D.PrepBook with your structured solution.

Submit the filled 6D.PrepBook at the Admission Workshop
Step 2 - Submit Solution Video
- Create a short Solution Video (YouTube Short / Instagram Reel) of the home-based problem solved using the 6D.PrepBook.
- Submit the Solution Video at the Admission Workshop
Step 3 - Participate in Admission Workshop

Students are evaluated through the AD 5.0 Admission Workshop, where they participate in problem observation, design thinking, and collaborative activities.
